Privacy Policy

Noorlings is a service of Solid Shift Pvt Ltd, Republic of Maldives (“we”, “us”). We make personalized children's storybooks and printables. This page explains what information we collect, why, and what we do — and don't do — with it. The short version: we collect only what we need to make and deliver your order, we never sell your information, and your child's photos are used for their book and nothing else.

What we collect

• Order details — your name, phone/WhatsApp number, email (optional) and any notes you add, so we can confirm and deliver your order.
• Personalization details— your child's first name, age and the story preferences you choose. These appear in the book you order.
• Photos — the photos you upload of your child, used only as reference to illustrate their book. While we work on your order they live in a private storage bucket that is not publicly accessible, and once your book is delivered (or the order is cancelled) they are permanently destroyed.
• Account details — if you create an account: your email address and a securely hashed password (we never see the password itself).
• Newsletter email — if you sign up for the free printable of the week, we store the email address you give us.

What we use it for

• Creating and delivering the storybook or pack you ordered.
• Contacting you about your order (confirmation, payment, delivery).
• Sending the weekly printable, if you subscribed. Every email includes a way to opt out — you can also just reply “stop”.
• Understanding which pages are popular, via privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics that do not identify you.

We do notsell, rent or trade your information with anyone. We do not use your child's photos or name for marketing, samples or AI training. Our sample characters (like Yusuf) are fictional.

Children

All information about a child — their name, age and photos — is provided to us by a parent or guardian placing an order. We never collect information from children directly, and we only use it to make that child's book.

Where it lives & who processes it

Our website and database run on trusted cloud providers (Vercel and Supabase), and order alerts reach our small team through a private notification channel. Payments are made by bank transfer directly to our account — we never see or store card details.

How long we keep it

We keep order records so you can track past orders. Your child's photos are different: they are used to generate the book and then permanently deleted as soon as the order is complete— we don't keep a photo library. (It also means that if you order a printed copy later, we may ask you to re-upload them.) Want them gone even sooner? Ask, and it's done.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to show you, correct, or permanently delete the information we hold about you or your child — including photos. Reach us through the contact details shared with your order confirmation, and we'll act on it promptly.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Questions are always welcome — this policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives.
