A girl’s sandcastle keeps tumbling down — and she learns that every fall is just a chance to try again.
Sara wanted to build the tallest, grandest sandcastle on the whole island.
She patted and piled the soft golden sand higher and higher.
But — whoosh! A little wave rolled in and washed one wall away. “Oh!”
She built it again, taller this time. But a naughty gust of wind — puff! — knocked the tower flat.
A cheeky ghost crab popped up. “It fell down again!” Sara’s eyes filled with tears. “I’m Foni,” he said.
“Do you want to stop?” asked Foni. Sara sniffled. “No… I want it to WORK.”
So she tried a new way — she built further from the waves and packed the sand nice and wet.
Foni helped dig the moat. Scoop, scoop, pat, pat. Up rose the strong walls once more.
A wave rushed in — but stopped at the moat! The castle stood tall. “It’s working!”
Higher and higher they built — towers, bridges, and a little shell flag right on top.
“We DID it!” cheered Sara. The grandest castle on the whole island, at last.
Every time it fell, she tried again — and that is how little Sara built something big.
